Job Description:

Oxford Airport Technical Service is seeking to hire a Director Passenger Boarding Bridge Installation (PBB) (also  known as an air bridge, jet bridge, jetway) will oversee the installation, servicing, and repair of structures and major components. This position will report directly to the VP PBB Installation and will be responsible for scheduling and overseeing the installation of products. The Director PBB will ensure adherence to contract specifications and policy and procedures.

We are seeking someone who has proven skills leading teams and installation projects within a complex business environment. The ideal candidate for this position will be results-focused with a history of performance resolving issues in timely manner, analyzing financial performance, and drive profitable growth within deadline-driven and time-crunch environments.

Essential Functions (Job Duties and Responsibilities):

  • Provides insightful leadership and guidance to the installation teams to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Responsible for a complete understanding of revenue, margin, and profit components to drive the success of all branches
  • Analyzes financial performance and plans corrective action to improve
  • Reviews and submits all required Installer paperwork daily
  • Responsible for ensuring each installation team has a Certified Master Installer
  • Provides on-site inspections of live installations in progress to ensure quality of installation, adherence to requirements, proper attire of installation teams, cleanliness of job site, and exemplary customer service is being delivered, including the post installation job site inspections
  • Follow-up/through of resolutions to job site inspections
  • Assists in the timely and appropriate resolution of job site issues
  • Facilitates regular meetings with Installation teams
  • Works collaboratively with Operation and Site Managers to communicate areas of opportunity • Supports the field management team by handling customer opportunities as needed
  • Oversees the work performance of sub-contractors and ensures methods, quality, and results meet company standards
  • Creates a sense of ownership and empowerment in their team
  • Responsible for a complete understanding of revenue, margin, and profit components to drive the success of all branches
  • Analyze financial performance and plan corrective action to improve

Skill Requirements

  • 8-12 years’ experience in managing teams on installation projects
  • Senior Executive experience within operational and project management competency areas • Leadership experience with a sizeable multidisciplinary team
  • Solid understanding of business planning processes and key business metrics
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem- solving skills.
  • Competent to work within an environment of frequent interruptions, manage conflicting priorities, and analyze and process high volumes of information.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English with strong communication skills for interface with customers and internal employees.
  • Able to pass a background check and obtain an airport site access (SITA) security badge.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent Preferred (not required):
  • College degree desirable. Licenses and/or Certifications: Lead Safe Work Practice Certified.
